Chiropractic care is a unique piece of whole person care, and chiropractors are in a valuable position to ensure the delivery of services are appropriate and effective for patients.
To be eligible for the value-based reimbursement opportunity, an in-state chiropractor must be in the BCBSM book of business and opt-in by June 30, 2025 (for the calendar year 2025 opportunity). Each chiropractor must enroll, even within a single practice, as VBR is rewarded at the provider level (i.e. by NPI).
