Chiropractic care is a unique piece of whole person care, and chiropractors are in a valuable position to ensure the delivery of services are appropriate and effective for patients.
Enrollment is now open for the 2026 measurement year opportunity. All chiropractors enrolled by 6/30/26 will be included in the regional results for the 9/1/27 VBR payment cycle. Chiropractors who did not opt-in by 6/30/26 are ineligible for the 2026 measurement year opportunity.
To be eligible for the value-based reimbursement opportunity, an in-state chiropractor must be in the BCBSM book of business and opt-in by 6/30/26 (for the calendar year 2026 opportunity). Each chiropractor must enroll, even within a single practice, as VBR is rewarded at the provider level (i.e. by NPI).

Note: BCBSM book of business address will be the default used to identify the region assignment for analytics. You will receive regional reporting results and periodic program update information, which will also be posted on the MDC site.
